Name.Space Member-Supported LokMail Terms Of Service:
Your email is yours alone... when you use LokMail to encrypt and sign
your email, it's as if you've used PGP on your own desktop to do so.
Your PGP keys are yours and yours alone as well. When a new key
is generated, we neither escrow a copy to ourselves nor track a
copy of your passphrase. Without the passphrase or an escrowed key,
nobody except you can read your PGP encrypted email without performing a
cryptographic attack. Even if a LokMail server is physically compromised
(eg: stolen), it would still take a cryptographic attack to read the
encrypted emails on that server.
LokMail makes neither any explicit nor implied warranty
on the services that we provide. For no reason will Lokmail be liable
for any damages of any kind due to the use of our services. We believe
that using our system is as cryptographically as strong as using PGP on
your local machine, only easier. However, if for some reason your email
is compromised, Lokmail will not be liable for any damages of any compromise.
LokMail reserves the right to cancel your account at any time if
we find you abusing your account. Abuse includes, but is not limited to
any kind of illegal activity of any sort and/or violating service
agreements between LokMail and ISPs regarding things like spam.
Your account is provided as is for a 7 day free trial. You may cancel
at any time. If at the end of the 7 day free trial period you choose
not to join as a supporting member, your account will be deactivated.
Those who wish to maintain their accounts can become supporting members
for an annual membership fee of $30.00 by signing up here. (please
establish your free trial account first as your username is required to become a member).
Those who sign up for Name.Space services LokMail domain package, $29.95 annually,
automatically become supporting members and may continue to receive the
LokMail services beyond the 7 day trial if they choose. No other discounts
apply to Name.Space customers who choose not to use the LokMail service
provided here.
